One of the "perks" working at NBC Burbank was not only working on the Big Shows, Hollywood Squares, Bob Hope, Jack Benny but bumping into my idols like Perry Como and Jimmy Durante. Sunday's at NBC Burbank

The Dean Martin Show. Driving from Belmont Shore, Long Beach, to Burbank took about 35 minutes scooting in my VW Bug, 1st the LB Frwy, then Santa Ana, Ventura Frwys, exiting on Hollywood Way. Disney Studios on the right, St. Joe's Hospital nearby. I parked in the employees parking lot, NBC Page Blazer hanging in my locker, ready for my Sunday assignment. Dean's Show. Between Studio 2-4 this little alcove was busy. Phones were ringing, Dean's guests were mingling. Dino's dressing was 1st door on the right. Dino was getting for rehearsals then an afternoon taping. Excitement in the air. Just another Sunday taping w/"The King of Cool." "Let's have a Vino for Dino!"
