Floyd Jackson a Legend!

 My first day as an NBC Page I met Floyd Jackson, and his thriving "Shoe Shine" business parked in front of the Artists Entrance at NBC Burbank. Anyone who came through "Hallowed Artist Entrance Doors" had to get by us and the first "celebrity" they met was a Legend. I remember Floyd and I were on a first name basis, each week I felt compelled to get his "incomparable" shine. He was part of the history of NBC Burbank. You could imagine Pages getting paid $65 a week were not big "tippers" but I managed to dig into my pockets to find a five dollar bill for his work and listen to his stories about the famous stars he shined shoes for, Floyd Jackson as big as any star that worked at NBC Studios.
